The Senior Nutrition Program at Community Action is a very important part of many lives in our community. These services help seniors remain independent and active. The Senior Nutrition program is partially funded by the Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland.

Meals are available for a $3.00 suggested donation. No individual will ever be denied for inability to make the suggested donation. To qualify, one must be 60 years of age or older, or be married to a participant. There is no income restriction to receive this service.

Our Senior Nutrition Program is one that requires local donations to maintain our level of services. Please see our fundraising page for more information on how you can help!

HOME DELIVERED MEAL SERVICES

Our staff and volunteers deliver hot, nutritious meals to seniors every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Some staff members deliver as many 60 meals each day to seniors. Many individuals who receive our meals are homebound because of illness, physical or mental impairment or if otherwise isolated.

Community Action offers a variety of social dining sites. These sites offer seniors dining options that encourage a social and active life.

Logan Courts
